Hello everybody.
I need your advice on this.
I get my 2 doors Rubicon in 10 days and I want to change the tires .
I have already the wheels ( Method 306 0 deport).
In europe the Rubicon comes with the sport Fenders and km2 255/75/17.
I have a height problem in my garage that cannot exceed 6.24 FOOTS.
Think I’d better ride 315/70/17 with US Rubicon Fenders or 295/70/17 with 2 lift and i keep the sport fenders ?
Thanks in advance.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
295 w/ 2" lift will be taller than 315s w/ no lift, about 3/4" taller I believe.

I have 2” lift on a Unlimited Rubicon with 315/70/17 tires. I don’t know the exact height but it is very close to the 6.24 foot height you mentioned. I would estimate between 6’ 3” to 6’ 4”. I drove in a parking garage that had a clearance height of 6’ 5” and the antenna touched the ceiling but the roof didn’t scrape

Thanks for your answer , so maybe 315/70/17 with 1 lift it's ok....
Do you think the 295/70/17 it's too small on a 2 doors JL?

295/70/17 is what I run on my 2dr JL, but I don't have a Rubicon. They are a bit larger than the stock 285/70/17s that come on the Rubicon though.

I have the same fenders like you on my Rubicon.
Do you have a picture with the sahara fenders and the 295/70/17 ?
Thanks

Just to give you a mathematic answer:

255/70R17: wheel diameter = 815mm (stock)
295/70R17: wheel diameter = 846mm (height : +15,5mm / stock)
315/70R17: wheel diameter = 874mm (+29,5mm / stock // +14mm / 295)

1 inch = 2,54cm

--> 295/70R17 + euro fenders + 2inch lift = 15,5mm + 50,8mm = +66,3mm / stock
--> 315/70R17 + US fenders + no lift = +29,5mm / stock

Our Euro fenders are the same but with an extra lip on the side... But the shape is globally the same.

The only thing is that the sport/sahara have smaller coils than the Rubicon (US and Euro Rubicon coils are the same).
