I just installed a steel winch bumper and winch on my new 2024 2 door Rubicon. The combo weights roughly 180 lbs. and the weight lowered the front end 7/8". I want to level it up and thinking about using an adjustable front coil spacer like this one:

https://www.extremeterrain.com/jks-jeep-wrangler-front-adjustable-coil-spacer-jks2211.html

I'm not sure what the factory rake was but I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 1/2" - 3/4" so the 1" minimum of the JKS should work given how much the bumper and winch lowered the front end.

Later if I decide to raise the jeep up higher, I'll add the rear adjustable coil spacer. I realize I'll need sway bar links, and may need control arms, track bars, shocks, front drive shaft, etc. if I raise it beyond a certain point.

So what am I missing with this idea?

Thanks!

just buy a 3/4 or 1" spacer for $40 to level it. ultimately you will want to go with coils with the added weight anyway so better to spend the money on quality coils.

Thank you for the sound advice. I can't find 1" spacers for my JL but did buy a pair of 3/4" spacers that I'll install this weekend. Those will work for now until I figure out what I'm going to do for a quality coil lift. Thanks again!
