AC Blower Motor Clicking

2021 Wrangler 35,500 miles...blower motor started "ticking" or clicking that ramps up with speed control and stops when A/C turned off. No debris in blower, thought it might be bearing in blower? But noticed my recirc door only goes about 3/4 of the way closed. I assume it should fully close by definition. When you turn recirc off and the door raises, it seems to shutter when trying to open rather than smoothly open just like it closes.

Does this sound like an issue? With 500 miles of warranty left, I hate to put in shop (1 week behind), then they tell me the door is acting as it should. I dropped blower and dont hear any clicking so wondering if might be that recirc door shuttering....

Any help would be appreciated.
