About to pull the trigger and buy a JLU...

About to buy a 2018 JLU... I was considering a Sport S. Looking for a basic unit with 6 speed, Towing Package and the 7" Carplay head unit. When I ran the numbers, the Sahara has most of that as standard items in the truck and $ is about the same... I am wanting to get the Ocean Blue, but the Sahara has the painted fenders and I don't really care for the fenders being blue... Anyone have any opinion? Can I change the fenders to Rubicon Fenders?

I am actually planning to make the purchase today or tomorrow.

What's the sticker price on that? Should be somewhere around $37,000 right? The Sahara is quite a bit higher isn't it? I don't know, FCA increases the pricing so often that I've lost track, but in April the Sahara was a lot more than the Sport S with a couple of options.

I love the painted fenders personally, but I realize that's subjective.

The Out The Door price on the Sahara was $38k. Only about $1k more than the Sport S. I think the Upgraded interior (115v inverter), the wheels, etc.. were worth it. I don't really like the side-steps or the painted fenders... I might wrap them in Matte black - they WILL get scratched.

You could also just swap out the blue fenders for some black ones. $500 for the Mopar 4 dr. kit.
