Figured might as well start a build thread for the Jeep
Ordered my 19 JLU sport S back in October of 18 and picked it up from the dealer in January of 19. Pretty basic platform to start with, only options I selected was the limited slip rear and alpine stereo upgrade and part of my deal trading in my 2015 JK was they added a set of wheels and tires.
So once signed, they ordered in me a set of Kumho KL71 35x12.5 17 on a set of procomp series 97
After getting the Jeep home I put in an order for Rock Krawlers 2.5” stock mod. I kept my rear arms from my JK to swap over and plan to order the front lowers at a later date.
With that kit I ran EVO’s shock extensions so a bit before ordering my adventure series front lowers and RK’s TT shocks. Man I can’t believe how much travel I was limited too with just the extensions and stock shocks
The front bumper and winch also transferred over from my JK. Built by a good friend that owns his own fab shop in southern Ontario, I wanted to change it up a bit so I cut and rewelded the stinger into a bull bar. I also made my own bracket to mount my CB and on board air
