So for bout 63k I can get a 2500 HD Chevy truck with 400ish HP(WHO CARES) and 975 torque (that is the power)

That would be a pretty simple truck close to a work truck.

But for 71k you get all that power and Z71 and badass towing capability. What does a capable Wranlger X cost? The 392 is closing in on 100k. 29000 dollars more and 500 pounds of torque less.

But as a Diesel lover. Yeah better deal than the Gladiator that cost the same.

The last Gladiator Diesel was 71k. Or you could get a HD Chevy with 2x the Torque.

This is the reason I would not buy a Gladiator. Not a great truck, not a great off roader. In the truck market, it sucks on many different levels.

For the same price as a Gladiator you could have a Dodge Power Wagon that would be just as good if not better off the road.

With the extra $29000 you should buy the ten acre field it takes to turn that truck around in. Never mind a field big enough to turn that truck around in will cost a lot more than $29K. I’ll keep my Jeep.
