Hi all first post so excuse me if I violate any etiquette.
I purchased a CPO 2019 JL on September 29th, a week later the check engine light came on. Code P1CEA. I was unhappy with the dealer since things were missing at delivery (tool kit, panel case, etc). So I took it to another dealer with whom I want to start the service relationship with. They ordered a part and because of the UAW strike, we waited a while for it. I didn't hear anything from the service adviser, so I finally called and was told to hold for the Service Manager (uh oh). Long story short, the code wouldn't clear. After going back and forth with "Detroit Engineering" they have decided to order a replacement battery (also on backorder) for the turbo, light hybrid system. Since it's CPO I'm expecting to only pay my deductible for it.
But here's the question, how problematic are these batteries? Do we think this will solve the issue? I've read other posts here and this battery seems to cause a lot of interesting issues.
