41 Edition wheels on a 2-door?

I saw the following on CarMax when I was browsing yesterday: https://www.carmax.com/car/28134790

The photos show the olive green wheels. Are CarMax shots actual photos or AI generated? It seems that the interior is definitely actual pictures, because it shows wear and tear. If real, I’m guessing someone added them on after market. I ask because my dream vehicle would be the Willys 41 Edition with the tan soft top, but in a 2-door manual transmission, which isn’t an option. This isn’t that, but I found it interesting.

Yea someone added those after purchase for sure. Their pictures are actual pictures of the vehicle, and if you scroll through the rest of them you can tell.

CarMax no longer does full details until the car is sold. My JLU wasn't too bad when I bought it, but was MUCH cleaner after I bought it. I have see this mentioned on other forums as well.

It isn't whether or not it is clean when you receive it as it is the fact that this Jeep has experienced some internal dirt and possible water/mud in places where it shouldn't. Buyer beware.

Well, I’m not ready to purchase yet. I have a 4xe with the lease up in August. The residual is $12000 more than the Carfax listed value, so I’m not buying it out, even though I love it. I just keep an eye on availability so I can plan out what to get when I’m done.

I run those Fifteen52 Analog wheels on my Jeep. They look like steel wheels but they are light. They got banged up on the Rubicon but held a bead at 15 psi without issue.

Actually, zooming in I think it’s really the ‘41 Edition wheels. You can also see the center plate with the Jeep on it. Here’s a link to those parts where you can order them and one for the center cap.

Getting some ‘41 body colored fender flares is a little trickier, and I don’t see an option to find the OEM tan seats, although there are 3rd party dealers. The interior and exterior labeling might be tough too, although I’d bet the exterior decals are out there.

So, it’s feasible to get a 2-door manual Willys that looks pretty darn close to the ‘41 Willys Edition. I did like the variation that DirtRoad Cred did.
