I was in 4 Low this weekend on some very tight trails I had ended up getting stuck so I locked Front and Rear and noticed that it limited my RPMs. Is this common and is there a way to override it.

I've never experienced this myself in 17k miles. How do you know the Jeep limited your RPMs?

Do you have stock tires? If no and you have not calibrated the speedo for larger tires....you will have issues in 4LO...
