Just curious..... why the "fixed 1/4" window on the back doors? Doesn't open like the rest of the window, whats the point of it?

A wide strip of metal there would look bad, too. So the choice is a window where the full width goes down 1/2-2/3rds then stops, or 3/4ths of a window that goes down all the way and 1/4 that's fixed.

That just might be the logical reason.

Something more strange is the glass panel on my old Fiero. It neither rolls down, nor is transparent to see through.
