Every lift spring has a higher rate than the stock springs. Sure the 392 springs have a higher rate than 2dr sport springs, but I'd bet they are still lower rate than any aftermarket 2" lift spring. I haven't run 392 springs on anything, but even the xr springs were too soft and wallowy in my opinion. I've yet to see anyone swap stock springs of any kind on to their 2dr and complain they were too stiff.
I have 4dr rubicon spring on it currently. But I have to buy doors today. So probably won’t get around to the install. I did get the reinforcement kit installed

I'm late on the bolt figuring out thing, but I go to a Jeep/MOPAR parts site, find the bolt and the size is usually listed as well as the part number. If the size is not listed you can usually google the part number to get the size.

I did get it figured out. I called the dealer parts department and they had no idea. They did have one bolt kit in stock and were willing to open it and measure it. And the sales guys were willing to remove one bolt off the 392 they had on the lot to measure it. But I ended up figuring it out.

I think I put all the springs in the wrong spot. When I jack up the back of the jeep the drivers side hangs down further than the passenger side. And I know the passenger side needs the longer/stronger spring due to the fuel tank. And supposedly the front springs are a little different too. One with grey protectors and one with black protectors. Mine have both black and grey protectors and both have black isolators. Only thing I can think of is to move them around to see if I can get a softer ride. It rides awful the way it is.

it is because you have springs that that are designed for a 392 4 door on a light 2 door....I think I may have cautioned against it in the past......also looks like your shock is pretty extended so you are going to get very little down travel. we all like to save money but this is not the way...

Yeah. I may have messed up there! I should have asked for more advice before installing it on the 2dr. @roaniecowpony did say that it was going to be a harsh ride. But having the 4dr rubicon with steel bumpers winch and tow package suspension on the 2dr was fine. Rode just like the 4dr. So I figured it would be a little more stiff and tolerable. But I was very wrong. I’ve been driving it this was for a while. Just got around to posting these pictures today. I switched out the 392 shocks back to the JTR red fox shocks after the first test drive after first install and that helped with the harsh ride. But after hitting the trail on Saturday the rebound is too fast and way too stiff. So AEV lift kit for the 2dr and the JLUR are in the cards! My bumpers and skid plate will be here Friday. I’m going to install those and the winch this weekend and see what the ride is like with more weight. I’m not expecting much. And will go back to the rubicon springs with JTR red fox shocks. It’s good practice for the boys too.

2 Door is roughly 4,000 lbs

392 is roughly 5,200 lbs

If you add 1,200 lbs of gear, body protection, skid plates, steel bumpers, etc . . . It will probably ridge fairly nice.

The 392 is a heavy girl.

Dang! I didn’t realize it was that big of a difference. That makes a lot of sense.
