Anyone running 35% windshield tint and have pictures of it inside/out? Im debating tearing off my 50% i currently have and replacing it with 35, but im worried about it being too dark for highway drives. And also a bit worried about getting pulled over for tint again. For some reason they dont mind 50% shield.

I may have some exterior pictures but nothing of the inside looking out. Funny thing is California Highway Patrol is a stickler for illegal tint in general and I got pulled over for it. He wasn't a dick at least, and I thought it was humorous that he ignored my front two windows in the process (obvious trap when signing off the ticket). I figured with how dark the sides were they would notice that and ignore the windshield. This time around I chose to use 50% and I actually don't mind it. But at the rate in which this windshield catches rocks, I may not tint the next one. If your LLEAs are going to care about their tint laws, then I wouldn't change what you have. The older I get the more I rather not deal with the hassle, with the exception the driver/pass front which I tend to keep it at 35% maybe 20%. I haven't noticed too much of a difference driving down the road and even into the sun between the two. Sorry this isn't exactly what you are looking for. Hope this helps

I just had mine done last weekend in 45% ceramic tint and it’s great. I’ll get some pics and post them. My daily has 50% reg tint and I don’t even notice it at night. Been on my daily for 10 years and looks great. The 45% on the Jeep look fantastic. Pics ASAP

That’s 45% ceramic tint. Looks darker in the garage. I’ll shoot a couple more when it’s sunny outside

18% ceramic on the front two and 5% on the rest
Damn that looks great!! Is there a noticable difference when you had 50 on the shield vs 45 now? I love how that looks

I'm surprised you get 50% in alberta. I think i've had 12 tint tickets when I was younger. Now I play it safe. Knock on wood I never get pulled over for tint anymore with lighter shades

I had an Accord years ago with 35 on the windshield and 5 on the rest, and it was dark, like can't see in on a sunny day dark, and I loved it. Now that I'm a little older, I use 50 on the windshield and 20 on the rest of the windows of my car. My wife got used to it and now has the same setup on her JLUR. I don't have any pics handy but feel like it's a good combo.

I have had 30% on my windshield on the trucks I have owned as well as my Camaros. I loved it. However, I do not feel the headlights on the Jeep are nearly as bright. I went with 55% on it and I am content. I did do a 5% strip across the top also.
