I thought that would be the case for me but that has not turned out to be true...literally no seat of the pants difference in shifting or hunting or gears which surprised the heck out of me...and even bigger MPG has not suffered at all. this was my last road trip. this is pretty much I get with my 35's on the same road trip..it is one I do fairly often so have a good comparo...this one includes 2 passes each way.
Nice numbers considering. Forget, you're 3.6 with AT correct?

Dang, why did you go and mention that? Now I'm thinking 38s or 39s. You and 2nd 392 are making my life difficult!

I already have the 4.88s for the 37s. I think that will be fine with the SRT conversion later this year (my JKU was great with 4.88s/LSV8).
Heck yeah, the 3.73’s pulled the 35’s fine with a small but perceptible performance loss. I’m confident going to 37’s next time will be similar with 4.56’s. Don’t sweat the 4.88’s and 38/9’s.

Now I'm getting all jelly over you turbo guys lol. :)
The turbo 2.0L gets a bad rap but with a few tweaks, it's a capable work horse. And for those of us living in higher elevations, it will eat up the Pentastar all day long without much effort.

I decided to go with 35x12.50s. I can't believe how excrutiating this decision was. Uggh.... Do I go with 11.50s so it'll fit the OE wheels better? Naa I could just get aftermarket wheels too. But I don't want to spend that much. But it'll be nice to have the factory set to throw back on if I trade this Jeep for a V8 model. Well how about 37s then? Go big or go home. But I don't want to go all out with suspension. And I tow a trailer sometimes. So I'll stay 35s. Well maybe 12.50s are OK on OE wheels then. Round and round and round in my head. UGHH I hate Jeeps. They are a pyschological nightmare.

But in the end I went with 35x12.50s. Going to try them on my OE wheels with a small 1" spacer lift to make the gap between fenders and tires same as stock. Hopefully it'll work good.

It will, just start at ~32 psi and go from there because crowning is a bit of an issue. Fit the stock fenders perfectly with the tread ~even with them.

Sounds like you've been running around the neighborhood in my head!

FWIW, I ran my 2018 JL on both 35s and 37s on the stock wheels with 1-3/4" spacers for over 4 years. Worked fine, no problems at all with RK/Terraflex suspension upgrades. I went with the slightly thicker spacers so I would not have rubbing issues in the rear with the 37s.
