And I just saw that you just replied on that thread too, @THAW !

Man. This is crazy. I’ll have to run to the dealer’s tomorrow and point them in this direction.

So, after picking the car up from the dealer, it is confirmed that the infamous orange wire was the cause of all this. The technician followed the trail and came to the same conclusion, giving an eyeroll to my poor workmanship.

After a couple of years and some wiggling around, it finally lost connection throwing the IBS code and of course disabling the ESS.

Now I have to let the IBS go through the learning process to loose the ESS light. No PCM or BCM issues.
