He says he never ever gets a 3.6 from Wranglers and other vehicles. He always gets them from Pacificas 🤔

It's the layout in the van. The right cylider head never cools down and is heat soaked being tucked into the engine bay where little air flows. I didn't buy a new Pacifica, partly for this reason, when we replaced our Town and Country.

There are used Pacificas with 30,000 miles or less available everywhere. Try finding a used Toyota or Honda minivan. You can't. That tells you something.

Ya the guy know a thing or two about car, but we all know JL 3.6 also fail, probably not at the same rate as the Pacifica that what I think he is saying.

And then you have guys like this. He says he has done absolutely no maintenance on his Pacifica other than oil changes every 5,000 miles with the cheapest oil and filter money can buy. No coolant changes, no transmission fluid, no brake fluid, no nothing, and the van is going strong at 200,000 miles 😃💪👍

"1100 hours of idling, more than 5,000 of total hours, and more than 200,000 miles, what a unit".
He's calling the Pacifica haters cry babies 😆

I agree that there are less issues than what we see in the media, but the 3.6L in my Chrysler Town and Country is no good anymore at 135,000 miles, and I am anal about maintenance. My 2002 went 165,000 on it's 3.3L with my maintenance schedule and was only sold due to rust.

I don't know anyone with a high mileage Pacifica, nor do I see any that look old. I do see TONS of the era of my 2014 Chrysler/Dodge vans, but not Pacificas. Our Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealer is nothing but snakes, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm hoping the 3.6L in my Jeep is one of the no-problem engines.
