Just got a 2025 willys (first jeep), had 180 miles on it before the weekend and just got back from putting 130 dirt miles on it. Rode great, super plush and was better than I expected. I am looking to go the 35s though now for a little more clearance.I have read that the 25 willys has base rubi suspension with the 33s. Am i able to simply install 2.5 lift coils and shocks to install 35s or is that bad on the suspension/ride and need to do arms and track bars and everything to do it right?
Will be a grocery getter for the wife during the week and in the dirt once a month or more on the weekends.
I greatly appreciate any and all info you guys have! Thanks for your time

Congrats on the new Willys.

Clayton 1.5” or 2.5” will do everything you want.

You can probably add the 35's and a small amount of bumpstop and be fine. Pre'24 Willys have low sport fenders, the 24s and 25s have high fenders and wide axles you definitely don't need a clayton or metalcloak 2.5 to clear 35s.

You can add 35s as-is to see how you like them. You might rub the back of the rear fender lining at full-flex but not enough to be an issue.

Yep, agreed. I would avoid the lift personally, if you want little more tire/fender clearance there are kits to gut the fender and add some metal internal structural support in place of the plastic or replace them entirely with some nice aluminum or steel fenders.

And congrats on your new Willys @AcrFan50!

Just add 1.5in teraflex spacers,2-3in lift bilstein 5100s, mopar lift LCAs and metalcloak adjustable bumpstops. This will keep your stock suspension ride and fit the 35s no issues. The bilstein 5100s will give you the articulation you'd get from any of the small lift kits and the spacers will ensure you don't overextend the stock coils.

That's what I was running on my 2 door on top of rubicon coils. My profile picture shows how much articulation you can get with that setup. Those were 33in tires tho, I never actually installed 35s although the Jeep was ready for them.

Should've gone XR!
