Hi All!
Last week, I ordered a JLU Sport S manual with hardtop, conv. Package, headliner and heavy duty flooring. I have a vin but my build has not been scheduled yet.

Does anyone have an average eta for mamual JLUs?

2-Door Sport MT - No options

When it went D1, my estimated in prod date was 4/5, so it was close.

I have a build sheet today, so I should have a WS soon.

Welcome to the lottery. When I placed my order about a month ago my dealership told me they've been seeing about an average of 3 - 4 months (across all models/features). Some orders are taking 160+ days to more than 200 days. Others have gotten their Jeeps in a month an a half.

You'll get a VIN when your order is confirmed. You won't get a build sheet until it is actually in production. My order for a JLURX automatic was confirmed on Mar 15th and went into Scheduled for production on April 4th. Still waiting for it to move into production.

There is another order waiting room for people who ordered manual transmissions and it seems that there has been some added delays for the transmissions. Would be worth taking a look at that thread as well for you. Once you are scheduled for production you can keep an eye on your build sheet to see when your build sheet is actually generated.

https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=

Just put your VIN at the end of that URL. Right now it will just show a "No records found corresponding to the VIN provided" until your VIN actually has a build sheet.
Thanks, this will be good to have if I ever get to the build phase. Ordered a manual Sport S in Tuscadero, and the order was confirmed on April 10. I’m expecting at least a month before I see it moved to the scheduled status. At least I’m hoping it’s only a month! I’m told the manuals are truly rolling the dice on dates, you never know..

No word back from Jeep yet but the lead tech at the dealership said that the wiring for the aux switches is there just sans the switches. Apparently they have been showing up this way for a little while now. I haven't put eyes on it myself but if true this makes things a lot easier. Just need Jeep to confirm they will cover the hitch and switch install and then I can move forward. Fingers crossed...
Mine showed up without the switches and hitch. I brought in all of the order sheets to show they were standard equipment when I ordered the Jeep. I went back and forth with the dealer a little, but they eventually agreed they would take up the argument with Jeep instead of making me do it. They put the install of the hitch and switches on a due bill when I picked up the Jeep. It took a month for the parts to come in, then almost a week to install. The tech got the switches installed, but struggled with getting the computer to recognize them so that they would show up in the infotainment system. The eventually got it right and I now have the properly working switches and hitch installed at no cost to me. Overall, I am happy with my dealer's response.

Well, as of Saturday, my delivery date has changed from May 21 to May 24 to TBD. But at least now it's "built".

Probably means it's shipped. Same thing happened to me. Went to TBD and then couple days later was at the dealership. Good luck!

Do you know if they happen to have noted if the wire loom was already preinstalled and they just needed to pull the dash and install the switch module? or did they need to run the wire kit as well? Also, do you know if you have the two additional leads in the passenger foot well for ignition-on and always-on accessories?

This is one of the few remaining mysteries that I haven't seen confirmed yet from someone who's had do deal with this issue.

Awesome you're dealer made things right for you, even if it was a bit delayed.

I don’t know about the wiring, but I can go into the Uconnect screen and toggle always on or ignition on for each switch.

Unfortunately, I'm only going to muddy the waters here with some speculation. My dealer went ahead and installed the switches, sort of by default, and I wasn't really involved so I don't know the details. When I picked up my new Jeep it was already done (I wasn't aware that it had been completed), and the service dept was closed. However, I spoke to the dealer who mentioned it was a pretty expensive and lengthy task, and they thought that some sort of wiring harness was used on the inside of the vehicle. They definitely made it sound like it wasn't all wired up and ready to be plugged in to the switch panel, but they weren't able to provide me with any specifics.

At least they made it right for you. Are you able to check in your passenger footwell to see if the wire bundle there is 4 wires or 6? That would at least partially/potentially confirm if the wire loom shipped from the factory as the Mopar kit is only 4 wire in both the footwell and engine compartment.

Well, I'm graduating sooner than I thought after reordering with the Aux package. Vehicle built as on yesterday. Dealer says 3-4 weeks to arrive in AZ. They've been cranking the Rubi Xs out lately...others shouldn't have long to wait!

Heard back from dealership today. Jeep is covering the install of the hitch and switches. They had parts on hand thankfully and install should start today. If install goes smoothly should be able to pick it up soon.

I asked my salesperson to follow with the install tech on exactly what they encounter during the install. Told her there are a lot of interested parties and that the info could be really helpful so hoping we finally get a clear answer.

My window sticker appeared today. My second order included 2 options: the Aux switch package and the Hinge gate reinforcement.

Well, as suspected, the HGR is in fact a standard option. It appears on the sticker under the 24Y package, and the $675 HGR option was NOT on the sticker. What whadya know - they got something right!

Nice. I'm still waiting for my Window Sticker to populate, but at least yours somewhat confirms that we shouldn't be getting charged for the HGR as listed on the POC since it is supposed to be included with the 24Y package if you have the Auto transmission and thus automatically have the XR package features included.

Does yours show it as built now that you have the Window Sticker? I talked to my dealer the other day and he said mine looks to be in the status where it was moved to the Mopar up fitting, likely for the CAI installation. He is still expecting it will likely be delivered early - mid May so I'm hopeful I'll get a Window Sticker soon and it will go to shipping with an updated ETA.

Switches and hitch installed this afternoon. Picking up the rig tomorrow. Since they were able to install the switches so quick I imagine the harness was already there but still no official word from a tech that did the install lol. Maybe I’ll find out tomorrow or maybe it will remain a mystery.

Jeep or the dealership is covering it? Jeep told me they wouldn't cover it because "it's not a defect."
