Did they ever confirm about the Aux Switch wiring being there? If so, that should make a big difference on the total cost/effort.
That is still a bit up in the air. Was told by my salesperson that the tech said it “should” be there and that they have been showing up with it. I asked if they could put eyes on it to confirm for sure and was told they would have to take apart dash to inspect. I mentioned looking for the leads under the hood but I haven’t heard anything on it since. TLDR; inconclusive lol

Well, well, well. After 184 days since I ordered, the Jeep has moved into production and currently in paint with an estimated arrival date to Lake Charles, LA on June 15th. So, another couple of months to go, but there is now a light and 7 slot grill at the end of the tunnel.

Congratulations MSUDAWG!!! I'm so used to checking the status of my order and seeing the same result "Scheduled", that I had to do a double take just now...mine just went to production as well!!!

My order was placed Feb 6, 2024 and scheduled Feb 22, 2024...shipping to Virginia. It looks similar to yours except I didn't get the winch. I did get the upper body graphic to add a little contrast to the Anvil. I shared the VIN to see how close the last six digits of our builds are to each other. Since your order was placed before mine, I would expect the last six digits of your VIN to be lower.

My Jeep arrived at the dealership today, and got visual confirmation that the switches and hitch are not there. So now we start the process of determining whether I will be a Jeep or a Bronco owner.

I asked the dealer to check mine for the aux wiring as well. So I'll report back what they find.

Well technically, I've known since Feb when my build sheets became available (I ordered mine in Dec). I've just been holding the door waiting for my dealer to walk through and join us.

I am curious if any of the others that were affected by this nonsense has their POC (Priced Order Confirmation) showing the 24Y package at 13k or 12950? Since I was sitting with the dealer when we put in the order, I can definitely confirm there was no popup message about this and I am 99.99% sure that there was no other option back then. I know that eventually it became available to the dealers (long before the website was updated), but I'd bet a paycheck it wasn't there on Dec 14th. In other words, it was literally impossible for me to order an X with these options at that time. So I can't wait for Jeep Cares to tell me it's a "sales issue."

Hi All!
Last week, I ordered a JLU Sport S manual with hardtop, conv. Package, headliner and heavy duty flooring. I have a vin but my build has not been scheduled yet.

Does anyone have an average eta for mamual JLUs?

My JL MT Willys is stuck in C1 for a month now. When do they change production to MY25? What would happened if the order wasn't fulfilled until then?

Nothing, it would continue to be fulfilled as ordered. However, you haven't taken delivery so you aren't under an obligation to purchase it when it is delivered. Depending on your dealership where you placed your order, if it is still pending when they open MY25 orders they may allow you to move any reservation fees (usually $1k) to a new order for a MY25 order if you want to get back in line at the beginning of the process to get a 2025 model.

In regards to when they will open orders for MY25; no one knows yet other than Jeep. Once dealerships have access to them you'll start to see new order & price sheets pop up online.

Welcome to the lottery. When I placed my order about a month ago my dealership told me they've been seeing about an average of 3 - 4 months (across all models/features). Some orders are taking 160+ days to more than 200 days. Others have gotten their Jeeps in a month an a half.

You'll get a VIN when your order is confirmed. You won't get a build sheet until it is actually in production. My order for a JLURX automatic was confirmed on Mar 15th and went into Scheduled for production on April 4th. Still waiting for it to move into production.

There is another order waiting room for people who ordered manual transmissions and it seems that there has been some added delays for the transmissions. Would be worth taking a look at that thread as well for you. Once you are scheduled for production you can keep an eye on your build sheet to see when your build sheet is actually generated.

https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=

Just put your VIN at the end of that URL. Right now it will just show a "No records found corresponding to the VIN provided" until your VIN actually has a build sheet.

My deposit was $500. But more importantly is that it was configured just the way I liked it. Presumably everything will change for MY25, so what will they be doing with the build: will they reach out and offer to make changes or just cancel the order?

No they will continue to build it as ordered. They aren't going to change your in-progress order from a 2024 to a 2025 or change its options or components to whatever changes they may do for new 2025 orders. They will continue building through all of the 2024 orders as they were ordered.
