2024 Delivery Dates

Hey All,

I ordered my Willys 2 dr. about 6 weeks ago. A VIN has been assigned by not ship/delivery date yet. Dealer says no idea when I might actually get it, could be another couple of months - there is some type of delay with standard transmission Jeeps. Anybody else having the same issue or do I need to push a bit harder with the dealer?

Don't put much faith in any of the trackers though. Also don't expect JeepCares to give you a different answer than the official tracker. Their response is pretty much canned since they say they only have access to look at the same tracker we all have access to. They've also dodged any questions about average wait time from confirmed to scheduled. Standard line is "There are no issues and you're still within the delivery timeframe"

They also don't commit to any specific date or time. I was notified that my jeep shipped on 8/12 and estimated date of delivery is between 8/27/23 and 9/26/23.

There is an open recall on jeeps with the standard transmission an there is a stop on all those to be sold. So you could be waiting for a while.

Just checked my status (2D Rubicon with the V6 and automatc transmission) and at 64 days out from June 17th am still sitting at "C-Order Confirmed". Hopefully will move to "D1 - Scheduled" soon. I did see on another thread that V6 production has halted while they crank out the 2.0T 4XE’s. Not sure what that does to me but it's probably not good.

Dealer won’t be much more help than the Jeep Cares hotline. All they can do is call their rep and the rep might graciously brush you off or completely ignore you.

Sadly you’re right. Jeep Cares line is a joke so is their email system. I was 7mo in line waiting for mine and 0 info from Jeep. I started back at the back of the line as I changed my order from a 2023 to a 2024 now only 2mo in and waiting. The part that does burn is the very fact that in any industry an order sitting for 7mo and not one single call or actual info would be unacceptable in any other market. Makes one wonder if every aspect of Jeep is the same?
