If anyone is looking for a 2024 392, dealer in Strathmore (Calgary) has one.

Seems like they are asking 20K extra over MSRP. Lot is full of Jeeps and Rams.

I'd take a 392, and I actually want Black as well. But no way am I paying over MSRP.

If I find a dealer willing to sell at MSRP then I might just drive away in one of these if it's black. I took a look at this one to make sure I like the new refresh and came away liking what I saw. However, they are intent on getting the ADM they have listed...

Add in the Trudeau tax (any vehicle over 100k)

141,380 x 10%= 14,138.00
41380 x 20%= 8,276.00
Total before GST= 163,794.00
GST=8,189.70

For a grand total of $171,983.70.

Crazy price. And that's if you live in Alberta (no provincial sales tax) As I live in BC, that's another 15% provincial sales tax, for a grand total of $197,781,25.

I really don't know how anyone could afford this or want to pay all the taxes.

The Trudeau tax is actually the lesser of 10% of total, or 20% of the amount over $100k - so just the $8,276.

So it's a pre-tax amount of $149,656, but still once you add in GST that's $157k...

Absolutely ridiculous, which is why I refuse to pay over MSRP. I don't know who's paying these amounts with the ADM but it sure won't be me.

Apologies for the incorrect tax calculations. You are absolutely correct. Still a lot of money.

Just talked to Peel in the Toronto area. They don't have pricing, but can build one. They say if ordered now, late August to September. But that's if you want to order without pricing. They figure pricing will be June. I was trying to get a quote on a Rubicon X 4XE, but apparently they aren't available in Granite Metallic, which seems weird, it was the only color not available in that Model.
I was looking into ordering granite crystal rubicon x 4xe, as well. Website let's me build it, but all the dealerships I called cannot enter it into their ordering systems. Apparently, it has to do with matching colored hardtop not being available. It's too bad because it's the best color.

I asked another dealership about a 392 and was told that you can't order them, they only go to dealerships on an allocation basis. I was told that no dealer would sell at MSRP and the only way they could get me one was from another dealers allocation, and that they would have to pay whatever that dealership wanted and then pass the price on to me.

Pretty different from what the ordering threads in the US look like, where people put in an order at MSRP all the time. Not sure I completely believe what they're telling me, but I'll just wait and see if I can eventually find a black one like I'd be interested in. Not really interested in going over MSRP either, but I'm in no rush so I can wait and see.

Maybe they're right and MSRP is a pipe dream here in Canada, but no way I want to be paying $130k or more for a jeep (plus taxes)...
