I am not sure that software induced power reduction always has a warning message. My 2020 JL with MT, on one occasion, refused power when attempting to accelerate up a steep mountain switch back. The Jeep was in second, and RPMS had fallen well below 2000. The downshift to first was quick--as was the acceleration, which was then almost from a stop. My eyes were not near the dash so there could have been a momentary message. I thought the the software was in error and should have allowed second gear power. The issue has not repeated.

My Jeep hasn't had 19A revisions but did have the previous MT software set installed before I had switchback problem. Regardless of the recalls, I'm disappointed that Jeep provides so little information about MT software.
I haven't had any error messages pop up on dash any time power is cut from the engine while towing. I just wish they said what arbitrary conditions cause the engine to cut power.

If you are having issues with the new software on the clutch, reduce your tire size diameter a little at a time until it goes away.... , ie with the Tazer or JScan... The software is calculating tire spin vs the clutch and interpreting clutch slip. If the tires are lower PSI, or lower height because of weight, & the diameter is set too high, this will effect the calculation and could trigger a message or (I guess) torque output (I do not know about that).

Note: we figured this out, and documented that it works, on the Jeep Gladiator Forum.
I'll get measurements of the actual tire size and adjust it with the tazer and see if that helps any.

It was said that the earlier recalls reduced torque, it would not surprise me that the newest one does as well. Go all the way and get a real tune from Livernois with more power.

The newest recall does state that when the jeep hits certain conditions it will cut torque from the engine to protect the transmission. I'm trying for now to avoid an aftermarket tune as it will void my warranty otherwise ill be taking the jeep to a local preformance shop and having them do a full tune.
