Got a lift, and 35's, going to re-gear from the Stock 3.45 to something bigger since I'm running and constantly running 35's.
I've seen a lot of videos that say to re-gear to a 4.56 to get the feel, tranny strain and see that 8th gear more often, others state that a 4.10 is enough. But all on the V6, not the 2.0......
What do you guys think? Its my daily, weekend warrior, fire trails and some light rock climbing, like light...gate keepers mainly.
I want that stock "hump" that 8th gear and MPG (per say) of the stock 31's at that 3.45 gear ration.

thanks all, be kind.

If it were me, I'd go with the 4.56. That's my gut feeling, haven't looked at a gearing calculator, but that's what I'd go with. If you ever add armor, tow a trailer, etc. you'll appreciate the 4.56's better than the 4.10's.

I'm on 37's, lots of armor with the 2.0T and I went with 4.88's. I don't regret not going to 5.13's at all (which is a popular ratio for 37's and larger tires). I see 8th gear a lot now, including on slight inclines.
