I’ve been trying to decide whether to get the axle back or cat back. Only reason I want axle back is for the dual black tips, I think it would look great on my jeep. But also I’m mainly thinking about the cat back for the clearance and the performance. Before anyone says it’s a 4 banger and a jeep. I’ve heard it all.. mainly looking for slight performance increase. From all the boltons I’ve done I will definitely notice a difference in power once I get an exhaust. My wrangler right now is pushing 400ftlb on stock exhaust. Almost sounds like there’s too much back pressure at high rpms. The main reason for this post is i’m just wanting input from other 2.0 owners that put on aftermarket exhausts. I don’t want anything too loud but I like a nice deep rumble at idle. Also, one thing I’ve noticed.. I can’t seem to find anyone that makes a downpipe for this engine in the wrangler. If anyone knows of one please let me know!

I mainly want Borla for the fact that I will never run into problems down the road and no drone is a must.

My Setup
2020 Wrangler 2.0t
35” Tires
S&B CAI
GFB BOV
Mishimoto Charge Pipe - (my fav upgrade)
Mishimoto Catch Can
Diablo Sport Unlocked PCM

You're new here, so just an FYI: there are the occasional posts from owners who purchased an aftermarket exhaust in good faith, believing the brand's claim of low or no drone, only to discover that the exhaust did exactly that...particularly at steady-state driving speeds.

Shop carefully, and vet your selection as best you can before clicking Buy Now.

I put a Borla Touring on my F150 5.0 I know it is not the same but.
The quality was great. At 70 mph it was perfect ,no drone and it was just a tad louder than stock.
Floor it and oh man!
I do kind a miss that truck.

Why is this your favorite upgrade?
I am just curious. Thanks
It really opened up the engine, throttle response is there. Biggest power difference out of all upgrades. Air going in is a little bit cooler, and turbo noises are noticeably louder.
