My sis in laws 2020 Wrangler 2.0L had a water pump leak. Dealer wanted to charge 1700 to repair. I told her that was insane and to bring to me.
I was able to do the job, wasn't too hard just tedious. When I got it all back together, I went to refill the system with new coolant and used my funnel but the bottom of the reservoir started leaking. After speaking to a friend he said to put the cap on and let it run until it pressurized. The leaking stopped. I checked it this morning and the level is normal and full so I'm guessing it's good to go?
Is this normal?
