You need to know what you doing with the ZF trans. If you remove the fill plug with a cold trans and without the engine running you will lose a bunch of fluid. Do your homework before doing anything with this transmission. If you don't know the difference between the transfer case and the trans fill plugs I would get some knowledgeable help.

I hear that the transmission fill plug in your model is difficult to get to.
