Placed an order for a Sahara back in Feb. After getting my VIN, once a week for the last 6+ weeks, I've checked with Jeep Cares to get status updates.

Last week I learned it was fully built and had an ETA to dealer of 4/24. Yeah!

Today, I checked again, and like normal, they ask for my name, address and dealer I bought from.

But this time, the agent tells me that my name doesn't match the VIN. Lot of digging/scrambling and it turns out the dealer gave the wrong name for this order. The Jeep's spec's are correct, but the Window sticker is now going to say, "built for...." some other person. Jeep cares was sympathetic but said this is something between me and the dealership at this point.

One of the very unique things about ordering from the factory is to have that personalized Window Sticker, and I'm sitting here fuming that this got screwed up.

Trying to decide to wait the next two weeks to get the ordered unit, or to instead just get one at a local dealer. Only missing item from in stock units is the Dual-Top, they all seem to only have the hard-top.

1st world problem!

good question - just checked, doesn't show anyone's name at the top of the image.

That might be that the online Window Sticker site has no personal information. It's possible that your dealer modified an existing order to put yours through, in which case is would be the same as a dealer order. Do you have a POC that lists the order priority? I'm looking forward to seeing "Built for [me]" too on my window sticker, so I hope you can get yours too!
