18 wrangler JLU W/ non alpine system

So i recently upgrade my soundbar speakers with 6 1/2 inch 4ohm kicker speakers using the select increments adapter. I’m currently dealing with the speakers sounding quieter than usual (occasionally they will kick into full power and sound great) I’ve tried searching google and reading forums on how to fix this but just lost. Any tips for a budget friendly fix?

For starters you bought the wrong speakers, should have selected 6ohm as they only receive some 22 watts of power. This makes a big difference. Secondly, make sure the adjustment for speed control loudness is turned off/on appropriately and that might solve the loud/quiet issues.

It was a combo kit on extreme terrain and it was budget friendly. I’ve adjusted all of the settings. Speed control, loudness, eq and nothing has work. I’m not very savvy when it comes to this stuff

I installed 3 ohm Infinity 6.5 speakers in my sound bar and they sound great. I suspect bad wiring or bad speakers. Check the wiring and follow up with Extreme Terrain.

So say instead of replacing the speakers and purchasing new ones what all would i need to hook up the sound bar speaks to an amp? I would eventually get a sub so would like to future proof for that as well
