Classic Style Grille (from Distinction Applied) swap on my 2025 Willys

I was never a fan of the '24+ refreshed grille especially the blacked-out Willys grille so it was the first thing to go on my '25 Willys. Distinction Applied offers the '24+ OEM grilles painted to match or dipped as well as the classic style OEM JL grille ('18-'23) which I like much better. I also opted for the wider Gladiator style mesh. Here it is painted to match in Anvil and installed in like 10 minutes ...

The Willy’s grill in black looks better with some colors than others. My Jeep is firecracker red and the black grill is a nice accent. Matches the wheels, fenders and roof.

I think it would look good on white or any of the brighter colors.

Did you need to unload the original grill? I'm looking to do the opposite of what you've done, mainly for improved airflow.

Adventure life also makes a painted grill as well as grill inserts if you want.

I would think that you could find a used one in good condition for $50-$100 or do a direct trade with someone in an older model as the newer style is a lot more sought after.

That said, I like the end result. The body colored longer slots on a 2 door look more “Jeep”ish than the short, hard to see black slots.

I could go either way, but I do like the paint matched grill better, even on the 24+.

Your Willys looks great, and it's the first Jeep on here that I can remember went back to the old grill (may have missed some).

Both are great. I prefer the new TikTok grill tho. Ive been trying to get my hands on one on Fb market place but so far no luck.
Distinction applied is to pricey for me, sadly.
