Three Jeeps, two Gladiators and my Wrangler are off to Moab on Friday 4/28 for some camping and wheeling.
I’ve been several times and have done quite a few trails, but I thought it would be fun and informative to hear what trails others like and why.

I’ll go first. Poison Spider Mesa is mine so far because of the variety of terrain and obstacles. It starts pretty easy and gets progressively harder until you clear the waterfalls, then there’s a nice break with the high speed Mesa, which isn’t really high speed unless that’s your thing. Then some slow technical stuff near the top where the view is spectacular. The obstacle difficulty is still on the fun vs stressful side and of course the scenery is amazing like most of Utah.

I’m going to be there for a week and my only goal so far is to do the “trifecta“, poison spider, to golden spike, to gold bar rim. That’s a long day, but I’ll have 4 more!
I’d love to hear your suggestions and I’ll let you know here when I get back what we did.

I did nothing difficult.... but Long Canyon and Onion Creek are absolutely beautiful. Courthouse wasn't to bad either. Had a blast on Fins and Things....really learned a lot about how capable my stock Rubicon is!

They are all great - but I will pick Elephant Hill because of the variety of challenges and the rock art
This might go on the list, I’ve heard this from a few people now.

Elephant hill I a great trail. Just know, they only allow 25 vehicles a day on the trail, and you have to use Recreation.gov to get your permit.

I am a fan of Cliffhanger. It is challenging right out of the parking lot.

Like the OP said, the Poison Spider, across the top to Gold Rim, Golden Spike to Gemini Bridges is a great full day. You can also Sid trip to Where Eagles Dare and various other trails up on top of the Mesa.

My Moab trails to date in order of favorite to least favorite:

#1!!!! Poison Spider - This was just a super fun trail. It had some tough parts that we had to think to get through. The best part was a Ford Escape tried to run it. We got him to turn around before the first "obstacle" which I'd hope that once he saw it, he'd have turned around. The whole, "I know what I'm doing, I've been off-roading before" while in a Ford Escape without researching, that just made me think, "no, no you haven't, you're an idiot in your rental."

#2 Hells Revenge

#3 Fins and Things

#17 Chicken Corners - Yes, it's not even #4 and I've only ran 4 trails. I didn't care for this ride at all.

I live in Salt Lake City and a couple times a year I leave at 5 in the morning and drive down to Moab. I then run Hell's Revenge and Fins and Things and then drive back home. It takes me 12-14 hours total drive time depending on how fast I decide to run the trails. It's a long but fun day. Because of this I'd say those are my two favorite trails.

Cliffhanger is my favorite. Poison spider if you are looking for something a little easier.

Hunter Canyon is also fun. It is the canyon that connects the end of Pritchet Canyon to the end of Behind the Rocks.

No one favors Pritchett Canyon?

Maybe I'm suicidal, but when I get to Utah for the first time I really want to try that trail.

If you ask my wife, Top of the world, Fins and Hells. She was a little scared on the first ridge going into Hells but there are a lot of good options here. Top of the world was her type of trail.

I have only been to Moab once, but PS and onto Golden Spike were my favorite by far.

Couple of challenging bits, but amazing views and scenery.

Well worth the almost full day it takes to run.
