It's not close to large enough Darrell. The outlet is rated at 150 watts and your compressor needs roughly 750 watts.

The 150 watts of 110vAC that comes out of the inverter does not seem any less safe than the 30 amps of 12vDC that can go in to it.

I thought 110 AC was worse because it can disable your muscle control? It grabs you and hangs on.
