  2. How to extend the life of your 3.0D

https://www.dieselplace.com/threads/lubricity-additive-study-results.177728/ From what I’ve read, and I know this isn’t a breakthrough as I’ve seen several people here mention it, the main problem with this engine that reduces its lifespan has to do with the CP4.2 HPFP and its design requiring...
  3. Now that MRTuning is releasing tunes, Where can I get a second ECU?

If you didn’t know MRTuning is bench flash only tuning EcoDiesels in Canada, and through (I believe it’s) EcoDiesel Owners Canada, you can send them your ECU and they’ll tune it (Stage 1 - emissions in tack for now) you can check EcoDiesel Owners Canada’s Facebook page to see it. This brings me...
  4. Factory Torque Specs vs. Clayton Overland Lift Torque Specs

Hi everyone, full disclosure, I'm no mechanical genius. I know enough to do some basic wrenching and follow directions. When working on installing my new Clayton Overland+ lift last night, we got to torquing everything down to factory specs. This is where I noticed a pretty big discrepancy...
  5. 2.0 Torque Curves

I've was wondering how all the aftermarket baseline dyno curves compare to each other, and found a neat website that lets you convert images into CSV data www.graphreader.com. So with some work, I've collected some baseline 2.0 dyno charts and plotted them out together. Some observations...
  6. Please close this useless thread so it doesn't get bumped in another 3 years

Thought this was interesting, especially below 2500 RPM. The Alfa has roughly double the torque at 1000 RPM? CSV files are attached. *edit: THESE CURVES HAVE BEEN ESTIMATED BY SOME UNKNOWN SOFTWARE USING UNKNOWN DATA.
  7. Calculator: gear ratio, tire size, speed, etc.

9/12/24 edit: Feel free to repost this anywhere you'd like. I just ask that proper credit is given. Don't be like Gus. Here's a spreadsheet I built to calculate gear ratio, tire size, speed, etc. The yellow colored cells are how to control the inputs (either drop-down or number fillable)...
  8. Lost torque and responsiveness..

I hit 5000kms and went to the dealership for my first oil change (synthetic). They also disconnected the battery to change the steering wheel (another story for another day) and said they had to reset everything. Now my Jeep feels completely different. There's barely any torque response when...
