So I got a bit messy this weekend. Wondering what the best way to clean the engine bay is? Any tips are much appreciated. Googled it and some sites say yes, some say no, some say cover specific parts. Figured others on this form have definitely had to have run into this at some point.

New Jeep owner, looking for input on cleaning mud and dirt off my Jeep, asides from power washing the undercarriage are there any parts to clean that may not be obvious? Also, is there any type of protectant spray you guys recommend using? Any related advice appreciated.

I bought meguiars rich leather cleaner wipes for spot cleaning (kids and birds ;)), but they left the areas I used them very shinny/greasy looking.
