Got my 2019 JLUR Rubicon back today from TSB compliance, night and day difference -- so nice to drive now. Told service advisor this is how a jeep is supposed to drive. he was one of the " its a jeep and that is how they drive"

Good on you!! In not a demeaning way, the TSB needs to be highlighted where it’s says if customer states the following , not have technician drive or diagnose it

Why is it so hard for FCA to do the right thing, instead they are sticking it to 20% of us with problems. Hope my wife doesn't get killed--surprised no one has been that we know of

DO you know of a fix(or one coming( for this steering issue(dead spot) with you experience, fixed my wandering with adjustable LCA bringing caster over 6.0

Test drove a 2020 JLUR yesterday, drove perfect ---whereas the 2019JLUR I own I have gotten down to now only dead spot(which sucks that JEEP can't fix this- had them put AE box) fixed the wandering with LCA and also added adjustable steering stabilizer

Any chance what flash number they accomplished is on work order ?

Just rented a 2014 Jk with 80k miles in Aruba , steering was better than our 2019 Rubicon JLUR(no slop at all, this thing was beat to hell too). Really sad Jeep.

AE was biggest improvements for wheel play, wandering just needs more caster . Sport and Sahara have high 5s caster whereas rubicon is at 4.7 - I think that is why I was having such wandering issues. I got Jeep Cares to pay for AE box

I have a March 2019 JLUR, had AD box replaced with AE which took dead in steering wheel from 3 to 4 inches play down to 1.25 inches play. Then added adjustable LCA’s and brought caster to over 6, this got rid of wandering. Just did this TSB this morning, minimal improvement in steering wheel...

I just installed rubicon express adjustable LCA on my 2019 JLUR. Caster now is 6.3, wandering on highway is gone. If I can get dead spot in steering fixed it would be awesome . Maybe this new TSB will fox that bitch doubt it

Don’t do a thing - not applicable if you have had no parts changed (steering box or pump)

This applies to me , had AE installed. I’ll let you know this week if it makes any improvements..... probably not I’m betting. As temperature sensitive this box is , it’s a hardware issue not software. 1/4 inch play when it’s 30f and 20 minutes later 1.5 inches.
