It’s only $500, you may be overthinking it.
  2. Need quick answers. Placing new order. Hard-top or soft-top?

  3. In praise (or not) of ESS? **NO POLITICS**

I get that you were replying to a poster that was throwing a fit, but I disagree that my post was unrelated. I was pointing out that the OP brought politics into the conversation and it is intellectually dishonest to ignore the politics involved no matter who requested the conversation not "go...
  4. In praise (or not) of ESS? **NO POLITICS**

It's almost like you guys missed the first post of this thread. I'll quote it to help. The OP brought it up. You can't use it as a positive and flat out censor the argument against it at the same time.
  5. In praise (or not) of ESS? **NO POLITICS**

Not sure how there can be discourse about global warming/climate change and avoid politics.
  6. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

I used basically the same method as in the video, except instead of a fancy homemade tool, I used the box end of an old wrench that was slightly larger than the threaded part of the bolt.
  7. In praise (or not) of ESS? **NO POLITICS**

ESS can be annoying, particularly on the V6, but the fuel saving is definately not negligible for in town driving. Save money, don't save money, your call. Agree with you on points 2 and 3.

Get with Steven Carrizales at Mac Haik in Georgetown. I got 6% off invoice with an affiliate code. No haggling. [email protected]
  9. Full Plug-in Electric Wrangler in 2020!

  10. Full Plug-in Electric Wrangler in 2020!

I never threw it out. Only replied that the report is focused on leveling the cost to generate and not leveling the cost to end users which can be very different equations. I don't think it is liberal or conservative. The same goes with the IMF, except it categorically leans liberal on...
  11. Full Plug-in Electric Wrangler in 2020!

Cheaper to generate, maybe. The purpose of the Lazard report is to advise energy producers, but does not include taxes or incentives to end users. For instance, there are federal tax credits and state tax rebates for purchasing PHEV vehicles (Federal up to $7500 and state rebates up to $3500)...
  12. Sleeping inside Jeep?????

I've never needed a nap on my trips to the mall. LOL!!
  13. Sleeping inside Jeep?????

That would be a huge over sight for a crazy expensive air mattress. Either way, I can't see myself sleeping in my Jeep.
  14. Full Plug-in Electric Wrangler in 2020!

Your statement is only true because of the excessive taxes on fossil fuels and subsidies proping up solar and wind. It's trading on false economies.
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I've done this. No more drips while entering and exiting!
  16. Advanced Safety Package

I had FCW, ACC, and Lane Sense on my Trailhawk. I won't have another vehicle without FCW and ACC. I do miss Lane Sense on my JLUR. It gave me a sense of being on a rail while driving down the highway. I'm certain all of these features will be required on all vehicles at some point and we'll all...
  17. Sleeping inside Jeep?????

I just saw this on Facebook. https://www.deepsleep4jeeps.com/shop
  18. Anyone have 2.0 Turbo regret?

The only Jeepers with 2.0 Turbo regret seem to be the folks that got the 3.6.
  19. Roam sidestep Rust

Probably true, but a little communication would go a long ways. It's hard to be a partner in developing a product when you pay up front and have to initiate all communication.
