  1. Cheap rear shelf for JLU hardtop.

Ingenious hinged shelf! Did you fab that, if so, where did you source the molly grid if you don't mind? Or did you buy it, if so, info please! Thanks!
  2. Bumpers - custom in CO area

Next Venture is in Grand Junction. They have a number of designs for different functions with well placed mounting points and internal gussets. Powder coat or bare metal finishes. I can't speak for the steel bumpers because I went the aluminum route. Love the craftsmanship which should be...
  3. oil total black? while oil life still 14% left

I would be very interested to see the oil analysis of the oil with the oil life monitor reporting 14% less. The algorithms are complex and track the right variables. OLMs are certainly much better than any rule of thumbs...but maximum miles and maximum time duration should still be thresholds...
  4. Warn EVO Remote Mounted Control Box with factory metal steel bumper

Also interested to see if anyone is mounting the control box in the engine compartment and where. Thanks!
  5. JLU smartbar motor rotate

Would like to know how the Rebel Summit Bumper winch tray fit worked with the clocked disconnect motor... thanks!!
  6. Trailer brake controller location

Has anyone tried these adaptors from redarc to locate the knob at the 12V power supply location? The round adaptor has a standoff that will need a 3d printed ring or rectangular bezel/flashing to fill the gap and finish the look. I would rather install the rectangular universal but can't tell if...
  7. ARB Rocksliders

The ARB sliders are legitimate rock slides. They will take hits. Only frame mount skids are for extreme hits but i would not hesitate taking those on trails and sliding around or over rocks.
  8. ARB Rocksliders

The ARB sliders use body mount bolts. I had no issues loosening the body bolts on mine, just be careful. I used an impact wrench after I used the breaker bar for a turn or two.
  9. ARB Rocksliders

The second set had the same gap. I couldn't compromise on it. Just didn't like seeing the ground . The product was solid otherwise. I went with the poison spyder frame mounted rails and extremely happy with them. Taking the hits offroad and no issues. No step though.
  10. Diff Cover Upgrade vs Diff Skids vs both?

Has anybody installed the metalcloak diff skid plate with the Dana Advantek cover on the rear? I wonder if there is an issue with the ribs hitting the skid plate.
  11. Thrumming Noise at Highway Speeds (63-67ish)

I haven not watched this thread for a bit. Do the 2020s have this problem?
  12. ARB Rocksliders

I worked with ARB. They will replace the set. There should not be a gap. I'll post when I have the new set installed.
  13. ARB Rocksliders

How is the ARB rock slider product working out for the Jeep JL. After searching the forum, I can't find pics or testimonials for product. I looked at all the SEMA pics I could find. I bought them last October brand new to the market back then. Really liked the finish, design, powder coat...
  14. Doetsch Off-road shop builds of all shapes & sizes

Thanks for replying. I'll tackle some ARB rock rail installs this weekend.
  15. Doetsch Off-road shop builds of all shapes & sizes

That's probably how I would have approached it until I read all the folks heating and using impacts. Thanks.
  16. MOPAR 2" Lift (initial review) - AWESOME!!!

I know this reply is a little late so I hope this was already figured out by your installer. The passenger side spring needs to be rotated a another 3/8" clockwise (looking down at the spring isolator) so the end of the coil butts up. There should be no gap. My teenage boys installed mine and...
  17. Doetsch Off-road shop builds of all shapes & sizes

What was their method to remove the body bolts? Heat and impact?
  18. Thrumming Noise at Highway Speeds (63-67ish)

Is there any update if you found a fix?
