Wheel Recommendations - Granite Sahara

Hi Everyone!

Looking for 17” wheel recommendations on a granite Sahara.

I like the tires to stick out a bit from the fenders for the wider stance - maybe an inch or so, nothing too crazy though.

On my JK, I ran Argent Pintlers with DuraTrac 285/70/17s and they were perfect. Of course, they no longer make Argent (replaced with Onyx).

Top pick for tires right now is 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I’ve heard that the Pintlers may not be great on the JLs - any feedback there yet?

Any other recommendations (with pics if possible)? Can’t even decide on color - I’ve always been a black vehicle guy but I’m leaning towards granite this time so I’m all mixed up.

Those wheels are all a bit much for me. I like Pintlers a lot, any other similar wheels out there worth considering?

Best way to search is [ 2018 jeep unlimited JL wheels and tires ] so many to choose from

AEV Savegre.....not sure if they are 100% JL compatible but I saw a post where someone made them work.

ProComp 7069. 17x9 / 4.75 / -6. Flat black and classic simple style. Having had these on a number of Jeep's I an attest that they stand up over time.

I had a rough time with this color mainly because the granite shows up different shades with lighting through out the day . I like the first pick from ET myself but its really up to you .

any other color would have been easy but that Granite is kinda telling me what to do !!

Exactly!!!!!!! I’m with you. I love granite but it is so dynamic, that wheel matching is tough.

Black doesn’t look right to me, because it’s close enough to granite that it looks like you’re trying to match but didn’t quite get it.

I’ve heard the new Onyx (replaces Argent) color from AEV is a good match.

Tough stuff.
