Yeah, just a lot at once. Dad’s doctors told him he should consider hospice, even though there aren’t scans or other tests to support that...they are not giving him the support he needs...that made him depressed. I got into it with nurse Ratched. I have been trying to find other medical facilities to help him, but can’t get the VA to return my calls. Bestie with cancer was in the hospital for a lung issue..they decide to do a laparoscopic procedure..she had complications and started bleeding uncontrollably. They had to do a thoracotomie...but couldn’t finish it...so they left her open until she was stable enough to finish the procedure...meanwhile..the staff was supposed to keep me informed, but they forgot and I was beginning to fear the worst...they had her in a medically induced coma for two days...when she came out of it...she called me first thing . So, there you go. :)
That's an awful lot to be going through at one time. Good thoughts heading your way.

Hang in there Trina. Even if we can't be there for support, we are at least here for support.

Uh oh. I really don't like power steering pump problems. I had to replace a few on the Dakota. First one was due to age, then the replacement went bad the next day and started spewing Dexron all over the engine bay... :asshat:
Yeah, not looking forward to replacing more parts. But things are starting to age and I'm sure hoses will need replacing soon. The o-ring is usually the culprit but this one is only a few months old. Air is getting in somewhere, but I can't find the leak. :asshat:

All good once the pump runs the air out of the system over about an hour drive. So it's not a quick leak, but the air is coming in somewhere.

wow... Hugs are definitely needed.

Does your Dad do his primary care through the VA? I've always found that going directly there and leaving a message with the staff (if the doctor can't talk right away) gets a much faster response than calling.
