Good morning inmates...

This morning is just plain insane with all the different topics. Definitely a multiple cup of coffee morning. Today is also going to be strange in that I'm having biscuits, gravy and sausage with the vets this morning and plenty of coffee. Tonight will be different in that the invite said "Hor d'oeuvres and libations will be served..." Guess I'll have to change out of jeans and t-shirt to maybe slacks and a collared shirt. BTW - my wife bought a "car" yesterday. Pick it up next Thursday.

Well, I was waiting for some land we own to sell before buying (which is now going on a year). After several months of whining with a sad puppy dog face (and drooling as JLs went by), my Comptroller (aka wife) has agreed if no land sale by the end of February I will put the order in (born in March so a birthday present to me).

Really looking forward to it since a Jeep has been on my bucket list since high school (and I built a model of a red CJ5). Had to go through my sports car and truck phase first.

Comptroller = wife . Yep, samsies.

I have a Christmas Tree with a few ornaments, and a Moravian Star. all of our decorations are already bought and paid for for years, lol.

It USED to be that after Thanksgiving would one kick off the Christmas season. Now... it's what... Labor Day? (or Labour Day for those across the pond )

I agree with Thanksgiving kicking off the Xmas season (though I usually wait until after Halloween).

Which is a timeline that is relevant to those of us who celebrate Labour day, without a transatlantic flight.
