Oh, jeez! Here it is Friday Eve, and I haven't even started my gift shopping yet.

On the good news front...sent two more birds off to a new home yesterday. That's 31 adoptions so far this year. My bird who stroked last month has started to regain lost weight, and is mobile.

And, for those who feel there are no good people left: the rescue's Ram needs a new set of snow tires. Gets a bit pricey because they're 20s. I posted the need yesterday at 4 PM on our Facebook, and had special donations of $2100 in or pledged by bed time. New set of KO2s (275 60R20) is on order, plus maybe 3 weeks worth of groceries.

And I'm already four cups of coffee into the day.
