A a manager, generally speaking, it is part of our job description to unduly impose pain upon those whom we manage.

And its why I always hated being a "Middle Manager" as the Platoon Sergeant. Just high enough in the food chain to get yelled at for the little mistakes the PFCs and LCpls make...

 You rock!

I just stay in my regular clothes and hand out candy. I'm pretty sure my wife is going to be Moana again. She just works out perfectly.

If the weather holds up, it is raining today. :(

True, some people are really still upset over the Fiat deal. We wouldn't have Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram without that...
...and ironically Fiat are probably the most improved European car manufacturer in the last decade in terms of sales and quality.

The image of Italian cars being prone to rust, having terrible electrics and other reliability issues might have been true in the 1970’s but it’s not any longer.

They do have an image problem with their dealerships in the U.K. but so do all the others... none of them are as bad as Mercedes though.

Nice! The rest of mine are toys ;), and not home to snap pics, anyway. I had to hunt around to find the snap of the Ibanez, and found that pic in an ad that declared only 167 Japanese models produced. Might have a rarity on my hands that I didn't realize . I did buy it while in High School from a *connection* with a distributer. Very interesting ..... and to think i considered pawning it in college

I thought corporal was perfect. High enough to avoid crap details, low enough to avoid crap responsibilities.

Yes, I agree! Corporal was the best rank for me.

I wasn't a Sergeant for very long before I got Staff Sergeant. I don't think I was quite ready at the time but by the time I was into the groove, I was getting hounded to be a Gunny. That didn't pan out too well, the selection process is skewed towards the raw numbers rather than recommendations of your officers.

ugh, I remember being excited over the Mercedes and Chrysler merger. I was expecting Chrysler to start pumping out high quality luxury cars, but that didn't pan out. The best part of that arrangement was the LX platform that is the 300, Charger, Magnum and Challenger. The PT Cruiser, and Seabring were pretty meh, and the Avenger didn't turn out the way it should have.

It was only after the FCA merger happened that the Compass and Patriot reached their full potential and actually became good little crossovers, but the Renegade took over their market.
