Close... but not quite.

Expensive display of firepower. Is it me, or are there better ways to blow shit up?

Small Dogs can really be narcissistic... and way too overconfident in their fighting abilities, lol.
This.

I've no issue with Loki reminding them if they step out of line.

Mornin folks... Nothing new here. I'm a little stir-crazy. Supposed to find out if I land a job today and I'm going on 12 days without the jeep.

No major projects at the homestead... thinking I'll replace the plugs on the Tacoma today. With the gas prices being the way that they are right now in CA, I could use all the help I can get (seeing I might have to use the truck for commuting (fingers-crossed)).

Jeep going back to Trail Jeeps for an inspection and slight steering wheel adjustment.

Hope it is centered this time and stops the slight pull to the left. :asshat:
After I did my lift and then had the front end aligned, I did the steering centering myself. Guess it was too much for them. While performing said task I did manage to really get it crooked. The wheel was making a hard right. lol
I figured it out and it's spot on now. Old dogs can do new tricks.

My first 4X4. 76 Ford Courier Factory Jeep conversion. Years after I got rid of it I found there was only 1500 made and was named the Sasquatch. It was pretty much a useless vehicle. No power and the handling was atrocious. I loved it anyway.

Now about the atrocious handling. 30+ years later I heard about the Jeep Death Wobble. (Thank you forum folks.) everything I’ve read and seen point toward the handling deficiencies of this vehicle. Whenever I hit a bump it would transport itself into the other lane and wobble like crazy.
Not something you should have to deal with yet. When things get worn out and or loose, this will happen and I've no doubt I'll have to buy more to keep things solid later. I just didn't expect to have to put a grand into new steering bits so soon.

Well "have to" is a bit strong. My Jeep got a bit wobbly but never jump to the next lane and wiggle your arm out of it's socket bad.

I've wrenched a bit, but am always in need of learning. I'll see if they will teach me while at the shop.

That thing is long gone. Between the handling and rust I only had it a few years.

Good morning all...Presuming I'm the Jim you are referring to - yes, I'm taking it easy today. A little sore. I was able to find the fort, petroglyphs and dino prints due to geocaching. While doing some searching on the internet about the dinosaur prints, I came across the following: https://utahdinosaurs.com/ Best part is that it's only about eight miles from where I'm staying. While Marga competes today I'm visiting the museum and giving Mo a bath. But nothing until after coffee :like:
Great to hear. :like:

that’s been me the last 2.5 years. Coffee and Red Bull get me through the day.
I've been doin well with 6-6.5 but less seems to put me into grumpy pants mode.

I rarely get more and if I get 8+ I seem to be as bad as if I only got 5. Weird.
