Mornin Jeep Peeps and afternoon John!

I did the chalk/chaulk test and then the lads at the tire/tyre shop said I better boost them suckers up to 35. I was wearing the outside edges too much. I'm running the Patagonias at 35 for street use. 20 for off road. I wish I could set the TPMS lower than 22, but that's the limit according to the flashcal.

The chaulk test didn't work out for me and the Patagonias either. I had them at 20psi, 25psi, and now leave them at 30psi. (10-15psi on trail)

The Tazer is fairly straight forward. No worries.

Yes, 25 seems too low to me, having said that they look to be flat across the tyre on the road surface and they’re driving really well at that pressure. I can’t feel any difference in acceleration either.

I hear ya. Mine looked and felt fine too, but they wore pretty quickly. Right front was the worst. It could all depend on the tire/tyre brand and the sidewalls.

Well I think I’ll go back up to 30 and see how that feels.

I'm not trying to persuade you in any direction, just offering info from what I experienced. The Toyos might act totally differently. I think the Pats are considered somewhat softish. Maybe you could find some tire/tyre dudes to talk to.

Sure, I had it in mind to do some ‘testing’.

The garage had a bit of a fight getting them on the rims so the walls are relatively hard.
