Happy Monday everyone. Tyres for John! Jobs for some of you poor young people! Be happy you have jobs to go to.

Speaking of jobs...we keep hearing that a recession is coming. I think it has come. Last time, my intake of birds at the shelter skyrocketed. Well, that has begun to happen again. We took in 4 this week and had to turn away 14 more in the past 3 weeks.

Ick. Like I said, happy Monday.

While dry sump oil systems may be great for the track, they SUCK when it comes to oil changes! 10 quarts of pricey oil and an hour labor. About $180 for my oil change today. Yikes!

Things I learned from my mom tonight:
1. she doesn’t recognize her daughter in my river crossing video. (Who did she think was driving?)
2. She had a great/scary steep experience with a Jeep back in her adolescence climbing mountains in Montana with family.
3. She could have had that Jeep, if they would have driven back to MT from MN and then bring it back.
4. There potentially could be photographic slides of this event on this property. (Too late on a school night to go searching).
