I would like to keep things simple and if this makes for a longer lasting motor I'm game, but if not I'd rather put the money toward camping bits I can use.

I've used it quite a few times. I like the top off, windows down, air ... Anywho, mornings have been brisk and I really am happy that I got this little addition.
