Looking to purchase a cargo liner today. Not too impressed by the weather tech plastic like stuff. Looking for a rubber cargo liner. The rubber just seems more substantial and lasting. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I have the Weather Tech, it's not some cheap thin plastic, it feels plenty substantial to me. YMMV.

They are plasticized. I have them in my Mini and they fell like rubber and plastic fused together. I'm looking for a good old heavy rubber custom fitted mat.

The BedTred is heavy rubber, replaces the carpet entirely. I had it in my 2015 JK, really liked it. Now available for the JLU, JL. Check it out !

Not to tread jack but is there a cargo mat that also has easy access to the cargo tray below. I had some weather techs in my Ram CC. Anytime I had to access the small foot cargo bins I had to lift mat which eventually caused bend marks.

Rubber is definitely more flexible than the hard plastic.

Just installed one today. Pricey but I pulled the trigger after seeing how wet the cargo area gets when it rains in safari mode.

I did a little research and landed on the Quadratec version -(https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadrat...cargo-liner-jeep-wrangler-jl-4-door-unlimited). I only just ordered it and have not received it yet so not able to review, but will post something next week when I have it.
I installed it today and overall I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and quality. It has a nice lip around the perimeter to capture spills, it is fairly thick, and does not feel cheap. One drawback is that it will have to be trimmed to use the tie-down loops, but I will cross that bridge when/if I come to that point. A few photos:

I have the same one, the only "issue" is with the tie downs as well. If you get one there's a difference between the one for with a sub or without, it fits perfectly.

Yes; I forgot to mention that as well as the other option that must be selected is whether your vehicle has cloth or leather seats. I am assuming that has something to do with the fitment of the front lip.

Good Call I forgot about the seats being a difference also...

I got the weathertech liner and I will give it a 4.9 out of 5. Great fit and finish. Only complaint is that I needed to cut it at the grab handle otherwise it bunched up under the tailgate door and lifted the liner.
