I just requested the invite. I have the bug for sure. I just took the JLU on a trail for the second time. I hit Switzerland trail. It is super easy but I didn’t know what I was in for. I am not super experienced but did some wheeling “back in the day”. I took two side trails that were both pretty steep for a Short period of time. Those quick excursions proved this thing is way better than me and also got me excited for what is to come. I have wheeling trips to Gould and Lake City planned this summer. It’s going to be a good year! Keep me posted.

Probably a bit if a Newbie thing to do but I’ll be doing a off-road 101 class with Peak to Peak trail guides. I’m somewhat new to CO and to wheeling with a Jeep, so I figured I’d learn the capabilities of the Jeep and build my confidence with driving on the trails.

I'm not sure I can get out yet, but post up where you will be because I'd like to meet some Jeeple and maybe get some mud on my tires.
Man, I did some light wheeling last weekend and let me tell you the black plastic parts are still stained with mud 3 washes later! I thought Oklahoma red clay was bad the stuff here is like paint!

So Quick question for the CO people's. Do you have to run a front plate? I've seen so many jeeps without them displayed anywhere. For a while I ran with it on my windshield while I'm trying to figure out how I want to mount it with the winch. However, as of recently I just have it stuffed above the visor.

I use a Maximus 3 stealth mount for my front plate. Simple to remove when I leave pavement.

Yeah, I was looking at that one and 4WP has a cheap one that clips into the fairlead. but if I don't have to run with it I'll just save my $20 for something else :like:!
