They're pretty smart. You can teach them a few basic tricks and they're happy to play with you. They do have a very short lifespan though. Two years is old for a rat.
Couple of our girls had some. They seemed pretty kewl. Crawling around on shoulders seems to be standard.
That may be the only reason to envy us. I do see the out of state vehicles with a ton of stickers on them...seems a bit cluttered.
