Just think what we could have accomplished, had we used that time for something productive!

(Pman scoffs at that idea...)

True enough, but not nearly as fun or interesting! Personally, I have enjoyed this, and these people, very much. I almost feel I know, or have known, so many here, for years. It has been an enlightening experience. I have found that no matter where we are from or our views, we all have so much in common. We are all human here, and I think, makes us more alike than different. We are all in the same family, so to speak.

This is where we cue up the "We are Family" song. :)

@Namib, holy krap! We haven't seen you in many months! Figured you moved on the greener pastures. How ya been? What's new? Just a fly-by visit? So many questions.......

Some more tear making news. Words plagiarised and names removed from my mom-in-law’s message. (And tagging @Sean L so he sees on Monday.):

“At the suggestion of his advisor, Nephew had applied for a scholarship given the past two years by a Local family, the dad a retired Marine, who lost their son during training maneuvers over Hawaii (You may remember that two helicopters collided about 4 years ago, killing all involved, about 11. This family's young Marine, whose remains were never found, was a graduate of local High School, and this scholarship is given in his honor/memory. The parents live out of state now, but came back recently to interview the applicants for their scholarship. The entire family made the presentation at the awards ceremony, and, while visiting with the couple after ceremony, they said they liked Nephew immediately and felt he best embodies what their son had stood for.”

The utmost respect.
