What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Finally got my wheel done.... I really like these dirty life wheels, but didn’t really like the all black, with yellow zinc plated bolts. So I primed and painted the rings, and got some stainless bolts and washers......

Looks great! Make sure you put some grease on the threads to help prevent electrolysis corrosion from the stainless bolts/aluminum wheel. Any grease should be fine. Just not the stuff with metallic particles in it. Stainless and aluminum is dissimilar enough, electrically, it makes a battery.

Okay! After never done a mod in my 57 years, I have done 3 in the last days; 13" antenna, moved by 3rd break light (so my kayak fits), and installed RedRock 4x4 Side Armor w/ Step Pads. Did the last one today and probably did every mistake a newbie can do so took probably 2.5 hours! Most embarrassing thing (but I will admit it here!) was I backed over one of my Side Armors when turning the Jeep around. It bent. Jeeps are apparently heavy... Drown down to the local transmission guy who saw my sad face and offered up a heavy duty vice where I could bend it back. All good and the Jeep is getting ready for its journey down to Baja California Sur, Mexico, later this month where we are building a house and will live full time. Exciting, and a great environment for Joe!

I like it. Not too loud. I even tested it on the interstate. Just a nice sound that is easily drowned out by the stereo.
I didn't want sports car sound from my Jeep.
