Finally picked up "Ruby" on Saturday. I drove down from NY to Koons with a good friend and had a very positive delivery experience with Craig. He's just a really good guy who knows Jeeps, loves what he does, and is one of the rare honest salesmen I've met over my 25 years buying/leasing cars.

The wait was definitely worth it. On the drive back from Virginia to NY, I just had to park Rubicon style at the rest stop! See below:

Exactly how a Jeep should be broken in. How were your impressions with your new Jeep in Sedona?

I was quite pleased with it. I like the better visibility out the windows, the locker switches are in a much better place now and being new and stock - it feels like a sports car, compared to a JK on 37s. All in all, they are expensive - but I am very pleased with it.

What trails did you run? Broken Arrow?

Yeah, just spent an hour or so on Broken Arrow. I wanted to make sure everything worked - lockers sway bar disco, etc. and then I had to get on the road to CA to get back for work.

I picked up my JLU Saturday and I’m in loveIve literally waited years to own a wrangler so it’s still crazy to me that this one is actually mine. Jeep did an awesome job. Now I can’t wait to add a lift and bigger tires!! Photo credit goes to my husband who took 100pics and this was the only one I semi liked :cwl:

Not sure why/how we got plates during pick-up...maybe it’s an IL thing.

I got a plate from my dealer in Grand Blanc, MI the day I picked mine up. It's a dealer thing. Some do it onsite as a convenience so customers don't have to also go to the secretary of state.

Hey guys! I'm moving from New York to Los Angeles in March, so I unfortunately could not be present for the delivery of my new JLUR in Redondo Beach... but my mom and dad picked it up for me!

They made these dorky videos to give me a first look. I know it's not much, but I figure I would share them with you because they're kinda funny
